Quietly producing clay coasters in the woods of northern Mississippi, my art career has left a
trail of paintings and sculptures for over
30 years. Two dimensional oil
paintings and illustrations were my specialty throughout
the 80's.
After graduating from
University of Memphis art school in 1986, I was
art director/product developer for a small gift company
in Memphis. The year 1995 I started my own design and gift company.
While
the paintings are in many private and corporate collections, today
my efforts are in the design and development of dimensional clay
coasters.
Some of the retailers that have carried my sculptures are: Bloomingdale's, Macy's, Graceland, Disney Christmas Shops,
The Nature Company, Gumps, Jacobson's, CrackerBarrel and hundreds more. Each
coaster is created
from clay and reproduced
in limited quantities at my Mississippi studio.
